The Role
At euNetworks, we own and operate deep fibre networks across key European cities. Our success is built on connecting our customers to what matters most — with precision, agility, and performance.
As Bid Manager, you’ll play a key role in securing new business and supporting account growth. You’ll lead the end-to-end bid process — from qualification through to submission — delivering compelling, compliant, and commercially sound responses that align with customer requirements and euNetworks’ strategic and financial goals.
This is a hands-on, strategic role requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent organisation, and the ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, Procurement, Legal and Finance.
What will you be doing?
Bid Strategy & Qualification
- Lead qualification of new opportunities with Sales, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
- Facilitate bid/no-bid decisions through structured assessment with key stakeholders.
- Understand customer drivers, competitive positioning, and technical requirements to shape winning propositions.
Bid Management & Delivery
- Own the end-to-end bid lifecycle from kick-off to submission and handover.
- Develop and manage bid plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions.
- Coordinate and challenge contributions from across the business to deliver cohesive, customer-focused responses.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and approval processes.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Partner with Pricing and Commercial teams to deliver competitive, profitable pricing strategies.
- Identify and manage commercial risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Support contract negotiation preparation to ensure commercial alignment with the bid.
Customer Proposition Development
- Tailor proposals to articulate clear, customer-focused value propositions.
- Work with Product and Marketing to reflect euNetworks’ capabilities, differentiation, and innovation.
- Maintain a central library of approved bid content and case studies for efficiency and consistency.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the central coordination point for bid activity across the organisation.
- Drive accountability and maintain momentum through clear communication and tracking.
- Present bid progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership where required.
Continuous Improvement
- Capture lessons learned post-submission and post-award.
- Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and content to enhance win rates and efficiency.
- Support knowledge sharing and bid training across teams.
What do we want from you?
- Several years of experience in telecoms, data centre, or network infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-million-pound bids end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of telecoms products and solutions (fibre, Ethernet, IP, wavelength, dark fibre, etc.).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Commercial awareness with a strong grasp of pricing models and financial drivers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
