Job Title: Opticians Data Governance Lead
Location: Nottingham
Contract: 12 Months Secondment

About the role
We are looking for a Data Governance Lead who will work within the Opticians Data and Programmes Team and you will be reporting to the Data Manager. You will play a critical part in leading and supporting the operational management of customer and product data through every touchpoint in the customer journey; ensure data is healthy, accurate, used responsibly and up to date. Working with multiple business stakeholders you will ensure our data, data systems and processes are compliant to all relevant regulations and data breadth. You will also ensure data quality is sufficient to enable the smooth running of the Opticians business.
What you'll need to have
Good comms skills; able to “translate” detailed information for non-specialist business stakeholders.
Enjoy working x-functionally with multiple business teams. Challenge and influence others to align to business processes.
Comfortable resolving ambiguous situations and and problem solving.
Curious and able to investigate to identify root cause for issues and recommend solutions.
Strong organisation skills & able to manage several tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of Opticians data landscape is desirable but not essential.
Experience working within data protection or data governance environment is desirable but not essential.
