As Clinical Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key part in delivering DMC’s recruitment strategy and supporting workforce growth across DMC Healthcare, DMC Radiology Reporting, and DMC Primary Care.
 
Reporting to the Clinical Recruitment Manager (or equivalent), you’ll be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and managing clinical talent pipelines, ensuring DMC continues to attract high-calibre professionals aligned with our values and quality standards.
 
This is both a delivery and relationship-focused role - combining hands-on recruitment with proactive candidate engagement, talent mapping, and innovative sourcing campaigns. You’ll also contribute to strengthening DMC’s employer brand through consistent, professional communication with candidates and stakeholders.
 
Above all, you’ll help deliver a professional, timely, and compliant recruitment service across the group’s clinical divisions, supporting DMC’s commitment to excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Delivery & Sourcing
  • Identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for both clinical and corporate vacancies across all DMC divisions through direct sourcing, networking, and targeted campaigns, i.e., headhunting.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support workforce planning and enable rapid fulfilment of upcoming projects and business-critical roles.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each DMC service line and translate workforce needs into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with the Clinical Recruitment Manager and service delivery managers to deliver workforce growth plans and ensure recruitment aligns with DMC’s operational and governance priorities.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and ensure consistency in recruitment standards.
  • Create compelling job adverts and digital outreach campaigns to attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Regularly report on sourcing activity, pipeline status, and candidate market feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Manage all applications and workflows via Pinpoint (ATS), maintaining accurate candidate and vacancy data.
  • Qualify clinical candidates to ensure appropriate GMC, NMC, and HCPC registration and compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates from first contact through to offer stage, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Support the onboarding of new staff in collaboration with the HR team - particularly during high-volume recruitment periods - to ensure all pre-employment checks, documentation, and compliance requirements are met.
Branding & Candidate Experience
  • Support DMC’s employer brand visibility through proactive use of LinkedIn, social media campaigns, and referral strategies.
  • Drive positive feedback and engagement by collecting insights from new starters and encouraging authentic online reviews (e.g. Google, Glassdoor).
  • Deliver internal training and coaching on recruitment systems (i.e., Pinpoint) and best practices for candidate engagement and feedback.
  • Ensure a seamless, values-driven candidate and onboarding journey. 
Stakeholder Support & Reporting
  • Work closely with the Clinical Recruitment Manager, HR, and divisional leads to align recruitment with business priorities.
  • Attend regular meetings with divisional leads to review vacancy progress and onboarding updates.
  • Prepare recruitment data and progress reports for leadership review.
  • Escalate challenges and propose solutions to improve process efficiency. 
Operational Continuity & Improvement
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment systems, processes & documentation. 
  • Provide cover and collaborative support for other recruitment functions during periods of absence or peak demand.
  • Support the Clinical Recruitment Manager in special projects and recruitment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and Communications to enhance DMC’s online presence and reinforce our reputation as a great place to work.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential
  • 2–4 years’ experience in recruitment (healthcare or clinical strongly preferred).
  • Understanding of pre-employment and compliance requirements (DBS, RTW, registration checks).
  • Experience with GMC and HCPC checks and clinical credentialing.
  • Skilled in candidate sourcing, headhunting, and pipeline development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (Pinpoint preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially aware.
  • Flexible and adaptable, solutions-focused.
 Desirable
  • Experience recruiting clinical professionals (Radiologists, Sonographers, GPs and Nurses).
  • Private healthcare recruitment experience.
  • Knowledge of employer branding and social media recruitment strategy.
  • Graduate degree in Business, HR, or related field.
