As a Business Assistant Analyst in the Regulatory Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk team, you will support us in managing regulatory meetings and projects. You will work closely with the Head of Regulatory and colleagues across the business to ensure effective coordination and communication. Job Summary:
As a Business Assistant Analyst in the Regulatory Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk team, you will support us in managing regulatory meetings and projects. You will work closely with the Head of Regulatory and colleagues across the business to ensure effective coordination and communication. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate arrangements for regulatory meetings with the Head of Regulatory and Compliance Managers
- Collaborate with other lines of business to organize regulatory meetings
- Maintain and manage internal systems to track regulatory meetings
- Lead weekly meetings with Compliance Managers to provide updates and plan next steps
- Manage the Head of Regulatory’s schedule and travel requirements proactively
- Partner with relevant groups to arrange travel, entertainment, and expense processing in line with company policy
- Utilize internal systems for accurate data entry, reporting, management information, and metrics using Microsoft Office applications
- Work with assistants across lines of business to provide coverage and build a global network
- Participate in projects and training, taking ownership as opportunities arise
- Support the management of strategy forums and regulatory meetings, contributing ideas and suggestions
- Identify opportunities for alignment and efficiency in team activities
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge of European, Middle Eastern, and African regulatory bodies
- Ability to anticipate needs, coordinate agendas, and solve problems proactively
- Strategic thinking and adaptability with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- High emotional intelligence and confidence in decision-making
- Discretion and sound judgment in confidential situations
- Strong work ethic and ability to organize and manage time independently
- Initiative and commitment to follow through on tasks
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a regulatory or compliance environment
- Familiarity with travel and expense management within corporate policy
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across global teams
- Experience in project management or training coordination
- Confidence in contributing ideas to strategic forums
- Experience with management information and metrics reporting
- Creative problem-solving skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
