What you'll build

As the SAP Solution Advisor Expert (f/m/d) with focus on logistics, you will be the go-to person within the sales team for any solution or product questions related to logistic processes. Leveraging your deep expertise in logistic environment, you will support the full sales cycle, from demand generation, identifying opportunities to software demonstration delivery and (post-sales) customer engagement. Your responsibilities will include helping customers improve logistic excellence by positioning the SAP suite with focus on supply chain management and logistics as well as business AI to drive business value for their organization.

What you bring

• Relevant professional experience: Proven experience working with large software or IT organizations, ideally specializing in solution-specific segments. 
• Technical and industry expertise: Strong background in SAP products with 3-7 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management processes, particularly in "Deliver." Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/PaaS models in B2B contexts. 
• Recognized industry expert: Track record of success as a solutions-focused professional with deep expertise in SAP Lines of Business and Supply Chain Management. 
• Customer-centered approach: Ability to craft compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions while understanding and prioritizing customer business goals in solution recommendations. 
• Dynamic communication skills: Full working proficiency in German and Business English, paired with passion and energy during all customer engagements

• The Solution Advisory department for Supply Chain Management of SAP Germany supports all sales units of SAP Germany with strong expertise of SAP´s Supply Chain solution portfolio along Design to Operate. The team creates future demand for our solutions and creates professional demonstration, explanation, and value proposition of those solutions to our customers and prospects
• At SAP, we refer to logistics execution processes as part of the “Deliver” pillar within our holistic Design to Operate framework. This process best represents our comprehensive SAP Supply Chain Management portfolio
• Within the "Deliver" phase, solutions like SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP Yard Logistics, and the SAP Business Network for Logistics work seamlessly together to ensure efficient, transparent, and resilient logistics operations across the entire supply chain
• With our competences and our know-how in SAP’s Supply Chain solutions, we explore problems and challenges of our customers and provide the best possible solution capabilities. In this phase, as Solution Advisory we take over planning, coordination and execution of activities with which we convince the customer of our solution focusing always on the added value for our customers to be able address customer’s business and IT units even more efficiently
