Little Flower Manor, a respected non-profit skilled nursing facility in Darby, PA, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! Founded in 1977, we offer short-term rehabilitation and long-term care options, providing up to 127 residents with a variety of services on our beautifully landscaped grounds. Here, you'll play a vital role in ensuring resident well-being in a collaborative and supportive environment. We offer a generous $6,000 sign on bonus for FT employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
- Monitor and assess resident health status, including vital signs, pain levels, and changes in condition.
- Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents and staff.
Available shifts including:
2:45pm-11:15pm
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for older adults.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in documentation and medical record keeping.
- Requires standing and/or walking most of an eight-hour workday with lifting · a maximum weight exceeding 100 pounds, occasionally with frequent lifting of weights exceeding 50 pounds.
