Manager, EHS Management Systems
Where will you work: This position will be located at our NA business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL. For internals: The successful candidate may sit at one of our mining or concentrates sites in FL.

As the Management System Manager for Mosaic’s North America Phosphate operations, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Mosaic Management System (MMS), ensuring it is not just compliant on paper but truly effective in practice. In this role, you will translate strategic direction into clear, usable processes that empower site teams, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and foster a culture of accountability. You will collaborate with leaders and frontline teams to ensure the MMS reflects our values of environmental stewardship, proactive risk management, and shared responsibility. What You’ll Do:
Support the development and continuous improvement of the Mosaic Management System (MMS), ensuring alignment with EHS and operational priorities.
Help shape the MMS to be forward-looking, risk-based, and integrated with Mosaic’s business strategy, while ensuring documented processes reflect real field practices.
Collaborate across functional teams (e.g., PSM, Assurance, PMO, Technology, Governance) to ensure the MMS is effectively integrated with their initiatives.
Maintain strong site engagement to guide implementation, coach leaders, and embed MMS into daily operations.
Assist sites in using the MMS to prioritize risk-based actions and evaluate system effectiveness through self-assessments and other internal checks.
Develop and monitor relevant and actionable KPIs associated to the MMS, facilitate steering committee reviews, and reinforce accountability for closing performance gaps.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, occupational health and safety, or related field
7+ years relevant operations or EHS experience
Project management experience
Prior experience implementing management systems
Must be able to significantly influence site level leadership
Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Must be able to present and communicate to senior leadership
Demonstrated problem solving ability and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for information technology and ability to work closely with the IT teams to execute projects.
Proficiency in EHS systems such as: Intelex, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or OSHAS 18001
Ability to translate strategy into field-level execution
Bonus points if you have the following:
Content Server, database experience and/or Power BI
