Position Summary:  Performs drug and alcohol tests on donors

"Due to the nature of the role, this position involves collecting urine samples from male patients. Therefore, in accordance with privacy and cultural considerations, this role is designated for male staff only."

Compensation & Work Schedule:

• Training Schedule: Week 1 - Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Weeks 2 & 3 6:00 am - 4:00 pm while conducting ride along with other collectors (Schedule can vary).

• Office hours: Monday - Friday. 6:00 am to 2:00 pm EST. Flexibility and overtime will be required based on Client needs. On-call duty one day a week. On-call weekend rotation approximately once per month.  On Call Responsibilities that include Weekends. 40 Hours per Week with benefits.

• Base Hourly Rate: $18 - $21 /hr (DOE)

Essential functions:

• Drives a company provided vehicle to client locations and performs drug tests. May perform collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines, which includes direct observation and possible oral swab sample collection. May perform breath alcohol testing following DOT alcohol testing guidelines. May perform hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Skills & Experience: 

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid Driver's License required.

• Must be at least (21) years old to operate the Box Trucks.

• Must complete a DOT physical.

• Must obtain a Medical Card (DISA will assist with the process of obtaining)

• Obtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification within two (2) weeks of employment.

• Obtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification within two (2) weeks of employment.

• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications preferred:

• Experience driving a box truck (Up to 23 feet in length) (Training provided).

Physical Requirements:

Must speak, read and write in English. Required to talk, listen, walk, sit, stand, use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Lifts up to forty (30) pounds. Climbs stairs. Must sit and drive a commercial truck for periods of time.
