Associate Veterinarian – HousePaws House Call Vet (Morrisville, PA & surrounding areas)
Do you love the idea of practicing veterinary medicine on the move — showing up in people’s homes, meeting pets where they feel most comfortable, and avoiding exam room stress for nervous patients? If the thought of delivering top-notch care on wheels excites you, we’ve got a place for you at HousePaws.
We’re not just “another clinic that sends out a van” — we’re a full-service mobile and hospital‐hybrid veterinary team that believes quality medicine doesn’t have to stay cooped up. We balance the freedom of house calls with the backup of hospital facilities when needed.

Why HousePaws Is Awesome (and a little quirky — in a good way)

  • Four locations strong: Our Morrisville base (along with our sister hospitals in PA, NJ, and beyond) gives you both home-call variety and in-clinic support.
  • Culture that moves with you: Our team is passionate, caring, and adaptable — we thrive on flexibility, clear communication, and doing what’s best for pets (and their humans).
  • Mobile + hospital synergy: Most days you’ll roll out in your mobile unit, but when a patient needs in-hospital diagnostics, surgery, or dental work, we’ve got fully equipped facilities to back you up.
  • Dentistry is in our DNA: Whether it’s standard cleanings, dental X-rays, or extractions, we take oral health seriously.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a veterinarian who:
  • Is confident (or eager to grow) in dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and general medicine
  • Loves working in a mobile/hybrid environment and appreciates variety in case types
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys building relationships with clients in their homes
  • Is comfortable handling the logistics of mobile practice — driving, traveling between appointments, and adapting to variable environments
  • New grad? No problem! We've got a great staff who love to teach!

What Your Typical Day Might Look Like

  • Rolling to patient homes for wellness checks, sick visits, follow-ups, and more
  • Performing dental procedures or surgeries (in clinic or hospital) when appropriate
  • Collaborating with support staff to triage, plan, and execute care
  • Educating clients about preventive care (parasite control, nutrition, vaccines, etc.)
  • Occasionally performing more advanced diagnostics (labs, imaging) either in-home or at one of our hospital locations

What We Offer (Because You Deserve Perks)

  • License reimbursement — state veterinary license + DEA
  • Company-provided AVMA PLIT (personal liability coverage)
  • Generous continuing education support
  • Access to hospital equipment and resources when needed
  • The opportunity to practice in-home medicine — fewer fearful animals, more trust, and a daily dose of variety
  • A strong, collaborative support team that truly has your back
  • A practice where humor, empathy, and mutual respect matter
If you’re ready for a role where no two days are exactly alike, where you’re literally on call for cuddles, and where your surgical & dental skills get to shine in both homes and hospital settings — we’d love to meet you.
