About the Department
The City’s Code Compliance Department is in search of a short-term worker to assist Code Compliance with snow removal efforts of the City. This includes proactive neighborhood patrols to help identify and flag property owners who have not removed snow and ice from sidewalks. Works in conjunction with a snow removal company who is contracted to remove the snow. Performs directly related work as required.
Work Week: Up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Supervisor: Code Compliance Program Manager
Duration: not to exceed 90 days
Position Duties
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Customer service experience;
- The nature of this position requires the ability to respond quickly, work safely, and spend the majority of the day outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
