This role is for a Site Engineering Leader, who will oversee all engineering activities at the site, including project execution, technical capability development, and cross-functional collaboration. The Site Engineering Leader partners closely with Operations, R&D, Launch, and MPD teams to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions. This individual manages capital and engineering budgets, leads investment projects, and ensures the highest standards of safety and quality. The Site Engineering Leader is expected to provide coaching and mentorship to engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own Site Masterplan and communicate effectively with CEO and Senior Leadership
- Lead team in executing investment projects, ensuring all success criteria are met
- Ensure safe behavior and working conditions, proactively leading safety efforts
- Manage capital, engineering, and AE expense budgets
- Partner with Operations, P&E, R&D, Launch, and MPD teams to deliver projects
- Collaborate with the site lead team to identify opportunity areas and make adjustments to strategy to ensure site goals are met
- Assist in driving the Initiative Management Center of Excellence, ensuring continuous improvement in project delivery and usage of tools and processes
- Build and support technical expertise and career coaching in the engineering team
- Make decisions and take responsibility during urgent issues that could lead to production stoppages
- Plan and coordinate multiple projects/activities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Education and Experience
10+ years of industry experience; manufacturing preferred (consumer products a plus)
5+ years experience directly leading or managing employees in their work plans
Demonstrated break-through business results delivery
Experience leading cross-functional teams and successfully delivering projects/programs.
Experience with capital project management
Strong technical expertise in high-speed assembly equipment, mechanical fundamentals, power control, and information systems.
Green/Black Belt and/or Lean experience (preferred)

Must be comfortable giving feedback and explaining the “why”
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, option analyze, resource, plan, and manage many project/work requests
