Who We Need
We are seeking an experienced professional aiming to advance their career in commercial real estate lease administration. This part-time role is ideal for an individual who wishes to maintain and refine their expertise while benefiting from a flexible schedule.
The Lease Administrator will be responsible for creating and managing essential real estate, data center customer, and financial documentation within our extensive property portfolio. The selected candidate will utilize their background to support a range of administrative functions, including setting up tenant accounts, preparing and updating lease agreements, regularly reviewing billing reports for properties, and performing general administrative tasks associated with accounting procedures. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with Leadership, Sales, and Accounting teams.
Description of Responsibilities
- Maintain key data center documents, including leases, commission agreements, occupancy reports, and tenant accounts.
- Input and monitor monthly billing expenses related to lease agreements.
- Complete accurate lease and service order abstraction.
- Track and report critical dates in leases or contracts.
- Set up and manage portfolio reminders; upload and bookmark files accurately.
- Generate standard and ad hoc real estate reports; conduct research.
- Calculate, invoice, and track leasing commissions.
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
- Communicate regularly with management and business units.
Position Requirements and Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; MRI or similar software a plus
- 5+ years in commercial real estate lease administration, paralegal, accounting, or property management (Landlord/Tenant sector)
- Telecom and data center experience preferred
- Skilled in interpreting commercial real estate leases and licenses
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate, detail-oriented, able to thrive under deadlines
- Self-driven and capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Eager to learn and improve processes and solve problems
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
