Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a dynamic engineer with a strong foundation in electrical design, a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions, and a hands-on mindset—someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to build, test, and refine electrical systems from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and enclosures based on engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards throughout the build process.

• Lead the design and development of industrial control systems that meet or exceed client specifications.

• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or similar tools.

• Conduct engineering analyses including load calculations, component placement, and functional safety assessments.

• Develop comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and support procurement of components and vendor services.

• Produce and review final electrical assembly and fabrication drawings; contribute to OEM manuals and project submittal packages.

• Ensure all designs comply with NEC, energy codes, and relevant industry standards.

• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

• Uphold all company safety policies and maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in an industrial or energy-related environment.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in panel fabrication and wiring, including:

  • Wire strippers, crimpers, and cutters

  • Torque screwdrivers and nut drivers

  • Multimeters and continuity testers

  • Labeling machines and terminal block tools

  • Drill presses and panel punches (for enclosure modifications)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), energy codes, and applicable industry regulations.

• Hands-on experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs and VFDs.

• Ability to read, interpret, and create 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
