CNC Programmer na Hussmann Corporation

Overview:Deliver properly programmed turret and formed programs to the end user in Sheet Metal. Deliver properly programmed copper parts to the Tube-forming department for manufacture. Properly maintain and update parts in Team Center and Baan environments.Responsibilities:

• Obtain information necessary from Team Center.
• Program parts efficiently.
• Put all required inputs, such as material, sheer size, and routings into process sheets.
• Work closely with the Engineering Department to do things such as minimize waste and report errors in drawings via Team Center.
• Obtain information from BAAN to program effectively and update the BAAN system when necessary.
• Perform duties of lower labor grades as required.
• Reevaluate inventory turn vs programming output to ensure parts are not over-produced.
• And other duties as required.
• Ensure effectivity control of sheet metal.
• Review, Approval, and Validation of (Make/Buy) Parts and Drawing in Team Center (PLM System).
• Item Master updates of individual Parts and Subassemblies in Baan (MRP System).
• Create and update Routing in Baan for Sheet Metal, Welded, Subassemblies, and Copper parts.
• Communicate parts that require cost roll in Baan to Accounting departments after changes.
• Communicate significant changes to Manufacturing Engineering and Production personnel as required.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Team Center
• Good understanding of BAAN system and the MRP system
• Knowledge of Turret Press operation and tooling
• Knowledge of AP100 preferred
• 1 year prior sheet metal programming experience preferred
• Good Computer skills (Word and Excel) required

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with Engineering and internal customers.

Overtime may be required.
