Job Title: Student Worker
Home Office: Clyffe Cafe - Vienna, IL
Area of Focus: Community Collaboration
Program(s): Supported Employment
Immediate Supervisor: Site Administrator
Hours of Work: Call-in between 7:30 am - 5:30pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Some evening and weekend shifts are available for special events and catering.
Shifts: Will be assigned based on the student's availability and the needs of the cafe.
Minimum Qualifications: Students must be 16 or 17 years old. Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Skills & Knowledge: Ability to keep the property clean and orderly; maintains First Aid and CPR Certification; must receive online Food Handler Certification during orientation.
Job duties include, but not limited to
Provide excellent customer service to café patrons, ensuring a welcoming and friendly experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table clearing and sanitation
Serve customers efficiently, taking orders and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
Assist with food preparation in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Perform routine janitorial duties to uphold a clean and safe environment
Support operations on the food truck, including food service and customer interaction
Assist with setup, service, and cleanup at catering events
Salary Range: $13.00 - 15.75 per hour
