Project Overview
iParametrics is seeking a Trade Supervisor to support our client’s Base Operations Support Contract (BOSC) at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) in Washington State. This individual will provide leadership across multiple trades to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of base operations and maintenance services. The role requires strong technical understanding, hands-on management experience, and the ability to coordinate across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, vehicle maintenance, and facilities infrastructure disciplines.
Role’s Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations across multiple trades and disciplines.
Lead teams in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, vehicle maintenance, and infrastructure support.
Manage work control processes, including scheduling, prioritization, and execution of work orders.
Oversee crane and rigging operations, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Ensure roads and grounds maintenance meet contractual, environmental, and operational standards.
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
Maintain detailed operational and maintenance records using Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS tools.
Communicate effectively with internal staff, government representatives, and subcontractors.
Support planning and execution of construction and base operations projects.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Must Have Qualifications
🎓 Education: Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
💼 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in leadership or management roles overseeing base operations, logistics, or trade supervision.
🔧 Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in at least three of the following: HVAC, electrical systems, general construction, vehicle maintenance, roads and grounds, fencing, remodeling, cranes and rigging, or scheduling.
🧭 Skill: Strong background in Logistics Management, Operations Management, and Personnel Management.
💻 Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
🗣 Skill: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
⚙️ Experience: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
🇺🇸 Requirement: U.S. Citizenship.
🚗 Requirement: Valid driver’s license.
🔒 Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
🛠 Experience: Prior work on government or military contracts.
🎓 Certification: HVAC, Electrical, Rigging, or other trade certifications.
💻 Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
🔐 Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance.
