Summary: General Work in all areas of the restaurant including cashiering, bussing tables, stocking supplies and general cleaning and snow removal. It includes servicing the “Beach” area The Saloon, The Line Shack and The Outpost including verifying IDs, entertaining guests, enhancing the guest experience. Serves restaurant guests by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and other duties as assigned:
Guest Relations and Customer Service.
Assists bartenders by checking IDs of guests while in line for drinks.
Assists with ensuring guests are not over served and identifies when guests have outside alcohol.
Informs management/security of guests who have outside alcohol.
Informs management/security of guests who display indicators of being intoxicated either before arriving or having been over-served while at Gorrono Ranch.
Informs bartenders of the same.
Assists with delivering alcoholic beverages when guests are ordering multiple drinks, maintains possession of those beverages until the IDs of all those consuming alcohol have been checked.
The Hospitality Host is responsible for personally verifying these IDs.
Uses their personality to help deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This may include but not limited to:
Providing hula hoops
Taking photos
Delivering beverages
Providing information to guests, directions, trail conditions, snow reports, etc.
Accepts food order from customers.
Properly rings up and receives payment for food items.
Maintains accuracy and security of cash drawer in accordance with management standards.
Maintains clean and organized work area in line with sanitation requirements.
Has working knowledge of all products sold.
Maintains scramble area by stocking items.
Stocks all supplies as directed.
Collects and disposes of used paper and plastic ware
Transports soiled glassware, silverware, trays to dishwasher
Cleans and re-sets dining area and tables.
Collects and places garbage, recycling and compostables in designated containers.
Breaks down boxes for recycling.
Stocks, cleans and maintains bathrooms before, during and after service.
Shovels and removes snow from decks and all other designated areas in accordance with safety regulations and management assignments.
Maintains all sanitation requirements.
Light maintenance and repair of facility and equipment when necessary.
Move picnic tables and chairs to ensure snow removal and safety of employees and guest.
Stock fire wood and maintain fire during service, if applicable.
Provides a guest experience that exceeds the guest’s expectations.
Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
Has completed and maintains a valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
Other tasks as assigned by management.
You must be able to ski or snowboard at intermediate level or above and have your own equipment. You will have to pass an on-snow skills assessment before you will be able to work. Employment is contingent on passing this assessment. Secondary transportation options will be explored for those that are unable to adhere to the above skiing or snowboarding requirements.

Education and/or Experience:
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Maintains previously mentioned ServeSafe Alcohol Certification.
Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Working knowledge of spoken English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform cashiering portion of job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of POS ordering terminals, Order processing systems and Cash Registers. On the job training for these is provided.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of US Currency, coins and paper denominations
Complete understanding of all front of the house equipment.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work effectively at altitude of 9,000 ft or above.
Must be able to function effectively in inclement weather conditions.

The pay rate for this position is $15.75/hr + tips
