The position is based in one of our Iowa offices: Cedar Rapids, Manchester or West Union. What you’ll do
As a Professional Land Surveyor, you’ll plan and execute boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, Department of Transportation and construction surveys. You’ll also: 
·        Perform CAD drafting for survey plats and base maps using Civil 3D and related software.
·        Process field data, manage survey databases and contribute to quality assurance and quality control for project deliverables.
·        Coordinate with teams to facilitate survey workflow.
·        Support property records, deeds, plats and legal descriptions research.
·        Maintain project file, report and documentation organization.
 
What it takes
Ideally, you’ll have an associate or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We’re interested in people who have at least four years of experience in land surveying, civil or survey design, or a related technical field. We’ll also favor candidates who: 
·        Are proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing tools like Lieca, Carlson, Trimble or similar. 
·        Work well independently and on a team.
·        Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
