Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for providing on-site support to Green Bay Packaging’s customer base, typically 3–5 times per week. Under the general direction of the Sales Manager, this role focuses on identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities into successful business relationships while managing and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Network/sell and develop profitable accounts
- Project work – communicating projects/production needs & wants
- Service existing accounts through regular contact.
- Research new design/industry ideas
- Follow-up on past due collections.
- Knowledge of products, machine limitations, and costing variables.
- Knowledge of retail marketing & style guide
- Follow-up on customer specifications in regard to particular orders.
- Process all required paperwork on a timely basis.
- Assist in preparing annual sales budget forecasts.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for product safety and quality.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or related experience
- Two years’ outside selling experience or related experience and college course work
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, ability to drive and be bonded and insured
- Able to load and unload samples from vehicle
