Position Overview:

Holley Performance Products is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support process improvement, production efficiency, and quality initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The intern will work closely with engineers, technicians, and production teams to enhance performance, safety, and product quality—helping Holley continue its mission of delivering superior high-performance automotive aftermarket products. This internship offers hands-on experience in modern manufacturing environments while embodying Holley’s values of creating the future, engaging fearlessly, building together, and living authentically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Support the design and optimization of tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods to enhance production performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, and process inefficiencies.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for production challenges.
  • Help develop and update process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual aids.
  • Collect and analyze production data to support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
  • Assist with equipment layout design, workflow optimization, and ergonomic assessments to improve safety and productivity.
  • Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives, supporting Holley’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to learning and contributing.
  • Demonstrated interest in manufacturing innovation and automotive performance technology.
