Marsh is seeking candidates to join its operations organization for the following position based in the Mumbai or Noida, INDIA office

Designation: Associate Director - Project Management

Location: Mumbai/Noida

What can you expect?

  • Manage end-to-end project to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Monitors progress and performance against the project schedule and takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes. Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring that team members are aligned with project goals. Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives working closely with senior stakeholders across the globe.
  • Understanding and overview of financials (For e.g.: Budget, HC, approvals, spent, savings, % returns etc.) across the projects being managed
  • Transition Management
    • Manage transition plan to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Create transition plans and maintain complete transition documentation
    • Provide complete transparency and visibility to the senior leadership on the transition journey with risks/issues/challenges being highlighted timely

We will count on you to:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure that all project phases are well-defined and scheduled
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the project is delivered within financial constraints.
  • Identifies, develops, and recommends the resources to complete the project.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project.
  • Review project outcomes and processes to identify areas for improvement. Implement lessons learned in future projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitating understanding between cross-functional teams through collaborations, developing road-maps, visual aids, establishing common language and other project artifacts

What you need to have: 

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in leading end-to-end process migrations & other transitions, program management and change management.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and cultures.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering projects within the organizational constraints
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and ability to effectuate change
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior stakeholders
  • Work individually as well as within team with minimum supervision and ability to handle tight deadline to deliver projects within the portfolio as per scope

Eligibility:

  • Minimum 12 months experience as Senior Manager / Associate Director
  • Should have at least “On-Track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal
  • Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
  • Should not have applied for any other IJP within MMC within the last 3 months
