We have a new opportunity for an Information Governance Project Manager to join our team in Oldham. This is a full time, permanent position, we currently operate a hybrid working style with three office based days. 

 

The successful candidate will project manage the implementation of Information Governance projects including planning, leading and developing our Information Governance Project Management Methodology. You will lead on planning, developing and implementing Guinness’s response to the Social Tenant Access to Information Regulations (STAIRS) and act as lead on any other Information Governance Projects as required. 

 

What we’re looking for

We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do.  You will not only be an experienced Information Governance Practitioner with experience of managing complex projects, but you will also have great communication and collaboration skills.   

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of managing complex projects
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Governance, Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Records Management requirements
  • Highly structured and organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms for differing stakeholders
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Social Housing
  • Experience of project management methodologies such as ITIL or Prince2. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 6 (Degree level or equivalent)
  • Recognised qualification in Data Protection / Freedom of Information.
