What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a Business Analyst to undertake business and technical analysis, business process improvement, relationship management, scoping and estimating activities for relevant and assigned projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Establish and document ICT business and system requirements
• Proactively manage key stakeholder relationships by utilising a range of structured research and analysis techniques including, but not limited to, facilitated workshops, client meetings, surveys, interviews and industry reference reviews as required to;
o develop end-to-end service mappings
o define as-is and to-be business processes, and ensure improved outcomes
o manage client expectations, in a limited resource development environment with competing priorities
• Takes responsibility for ensuring traceability is mapped and agreed for all business benefits through to system requirements
• Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine optimal business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
• Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business processes and system functionality and behaviour.
• Creating user and training documentation and conducting formal training classes.
• Developing functional specifications for use by system developers.
• Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software.
Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision-making process.
Working Conditions:
• Employment Type – Permanent full time
• Office Location – Sydney, Brisbane and / or Melbourne
• Travel Opportunities – Occasional business travel, nationally.

• Prior Business Analysis experience
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to effectively recognise and adapt to change
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
