Raw Material Utility - 3rd Shift na Utz Quality Foods

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team and is currently recruiting for a Raw Material Utility to work from our manufacturing facility located in Goodyear, AZ on 3rd shift. As a Raw Material Utility, this candidate will be responsible to receive raw materials, unload materials, and stage raw materials for production. This position will be required to work from Monday-Friday 11pm - 7am, and some Saturdays as needed. 

Key Responsibilities

• Helps with potato unloading.
• Follows FIFO processes
• Organizes and stages raw materials for production using a forklift.
• Inspecting potatoes for defects like rot, greening, and size. 
• Taking samples and performing quality checks, such as temperature, biological breakdown, and gravity tests as needed. 
• Checking incoming trucks for foreign materials such as glass, metal, or rocks. 
• Recording deliveries.
• Reviewing driver paperwork for accuracy, tracking weight tickets, and coordinating with other departments. 
• Unloading trucks, moving potatoes, and ensuring trucks are safely parked. 
• Keeping the receiving area clean and organized. 
• Following all safety guidelines, reporting hazards, and promoting a safe work environment.
