General Description and Classification Standards:
Responsible for a variety of high-level administrative and operational functions in purchasing, timekeeping, training, personnel, equipment/inventory, and records management. Performs reporting and analysis in support of department research, performance reporting, operations management, and departmental operations. Plans and execute projects to study operational effectiveness or trends. Designs and prepares reports by accessing databases or consolidating data from multiple sources. Summarizes data and provides commentary or observations based on analysis. Works on a variety of special projects for the Director.
Supervision Received:
Performs work under general supervision with review and advice from manager or a senior level professional. May work independently or with other workers with responsibility for completion of assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedules and coordinates internal meetings, including managing agendas and notes.
• Reviews assigned operating records and/or databases for quality.
• Identifies processes or reporting functions that do not provide the necessary level of completeness, detail, or accuracy.
• Retrieves and summarizes data from various systems for research or operating reports.
• Reviews monthly operating statistics and prepares operating reports.
• Participates in internal and external research projects collecting, reviewing, and summarizing results.
• Produces reports, presentations, graphics, forms, and other documents to demonstrate project results.
• Prioritizes conflicting needs, handles issues quickly and proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion under difficult deadlines.
• May perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of applicable databases, reporting methods, and formats
• Experience with enterprise systems, complex spreadsheets, databases, etc.
• Experience with computers, retrieving data and preparing reports and presentations, writing narrative reports, and communicating
• Ability to review data and identify trends and/or inconsistencies
• Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
• Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
• Works well under pressure and exhibits good judgement
• Effectively maintains confidential information
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience –
1. Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration, accounting, finance, information technology, statistics, human resources, or a related field (Additional years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the required degree on an exceptional basis, with a minimum of nine (9) years of professional related experience in creation, reporting, and/or management of data).
2. Five (5) years of work experience in creation, reporting, and/or management of data and relevant administrative support experience.
Licensures and Certifications –
No specific certifications or licensures required.
Preferred Requirements –
Six (6) years or more of experience in data analysis preferred.
Work Environment:
Required physical, lifting, and sensory capabilities are requirements to perform the job successfully.

Lifting Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
