The Lutheran Home is hiring a Housekeeper to support our mission of providing grace and compassion in our vibrant healthcare community. Whether you have experience or are looking to start a new career path, you’ll help maintain a clean, welcoming environment – always remembering that we are working in our residents’ home. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room
- Clean bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
- Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
- Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
- Clean the shower room
- Pack and move personal items for room changes
- Clean and change out beds as needed
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
- Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use

Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Housekeeping or eldercare experience preferred
