Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to gauge clients' aptitudes, interests, values, and transferable skills while identifying areas for enhancement.

  • Liaise with employment specialists, job developers, and HR managers to synchronize efforts and broker deals furthering clients' career objectives.

  • Identify job vacancies that match clients' profiles and assist with applications, interviews, and necessary arrangements for success.

  • Advocate for reasonable workplace accommodations that consider functional limitations and remove barriers for clients.

  • Provide ongoing training through workshops and courses while keeping abreast of industry trends and acquiring new competencies.

  • Instruct clients in essential soft skills including communication, time management, teamwork, and leadership.

  • Equip clients with rudimentary computer skills and optimize their technology use for effective job searching.

  • Coach clients in financial planning, including budgeting, savings, and retirement provisioning.

  • Educate clients on wellness maintenance, covering topics such as stress management and healthy lifestyle choices.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required; an associate’s or bachelor's degree in an applicable field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Preferred experience in rehabilitation, employment services, case management, or social services.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
