Empro Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Weekend Cook to join our healthcare team. As a Weekend Cook, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious meals to our patients, ensuring that dietary guidelines and preferences are met while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Pay Rate: $21/hour
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Period: Sunday through Saturday
Pay Day: Every Thursday
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of meals served to patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure food items are stored properly.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with dietary staff to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and nursing personnel regarding patient dietary needs.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cooking experience, particularly in a healthcare setting, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately.

- Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks and lift food items as needed.
