Job Overview:
As a Dyno Failure Technician you play a major role in the team of providing the best, highest quality, and most reliable transmission in the industry. You are our transmission surgeon, performing tests and rigorous evaluation of what failed with a transmission. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions and to all our customers. Your day will be spent thoroughly diagnosing, inspecting, disassembling, repairing and building transmissions following our process & procedures. Working efficiently, interacting and helping other team members to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly on the production line.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly inspect and analyze transmissions, component parts and make all necessary repairs
- Utilize computer system to track workload, read issues and record findings, transfer units for dyno testing
- Perform quality checks, provide conclusive information and feedback on all warranty units/claims
- Inform supervisor and manager of common issues and critical information, follow process & procedures
- Assist in building transmissions on the production line when caught up with failures and warranty units
- Suggest improvements, help train new personnel and work overtime when needed
- Follow directions from supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

Essential Functions:
- Ability to perform computer tasks, read measurements, specifications and graphs, be detail oriented
- Must be 18 years old, have previous transmission repair, building and diagnostic experience
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and will have to work with chemicals
- Skill and ability of working with your hands, air & hand tools (must provide your own) and other instruments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
- Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
