Staff Accountant na Grimaldi's Pizzeria

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is Hiring a Staff Accountant for our Restaurant Support Center in Scottsdale, AZ! 

The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing daily accounting functions to ensure that daily location information is available for management and that this information conforms to the generally accepted accounting principles, as well as State and Federal regulations. This is a hybrid role 3 days in our N. Scottsdale office/2 days remote per week.

Specific Responsibilities: 

• Daily revenue audit
• AP review and booking of transactions
• Month-end financial review
• Prepare supporting schedules for all balance sheet accounts and review detailed general ledgers monthly
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Sales and use tax reporting and filing
• Monitory the licensing requirement, city business and liquor, fire permits, health permits etc.
• Assist Accounting Manager and Controller as necessary

About You:

• Knowledge of accounting and theory, Great Plains and/or Restaurant 365 experience is preferred but not required.
• High school graduate or equivalent, with accounting training desirable.
• Multi-unit restaurant/retail experience desired
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential: Advanced MS Word skills, Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Must be a results-oriented professional with solid verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team
• High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
• Proven success in attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines in fast paced work environment
