JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/objective
- Responsible for entering all the inventory transactions after parts are pulled. Assist in unloading incoming materials and supplies.
- Assist in loading materials and supplies as required.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Place all materials and supplies into proper inventory locations.
- Assist in additional material handling duties in order to direct material into the proper reporting area.
- Assist in the training of current and new associates.
- Reads Work Orders and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
- As necessary may cycle machinery, unpack, catch, bag, shrink wrap, to produce sub-assemblies or finished product.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Log production in schedule boards.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain quality and a great attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A desire to succeed.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain good attendance.
- Computer literate
- Good mechanical ability, including math and measurement skills
