Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and on time delivery
- Determine most efficient route through reading roadmaps
- Adhere to traffic and safety laws
- Provide transportation service for AsteelFlash, vendors, and customers
- Pick up and deliver per AsteelFlash dispatch using company vehicles
- Move material with use of carts, pallet jack, and forklift
- Load and unload goods delivered
- Interacting with customers, Asteelflash employees and vendors to obtain signatures and supply receipts or records
- Heavy lifting of packages and other equipment
- Supports Transportation which includes but not limited to picking / delivering orders, parts, equipment,
- Packing, strapping and loading / unloading of pallets to trucks / containers.
- Communicates completed runs to Shipping Department and ensure paperwork / documentations are acknowledged / signed as evidence of receipt / delivery.
- Other tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
Requirements:
Education/Qualification:
- High School or level of knowledge that would be normally obtained of a High School degree.
- Have prior experience working in Warehouse/Logistics/Shipping
Experience:
- 0-2 years experience
Skills/Competencies:
- Clean DMV
- Ability to read maps, driving directions, and signs
- ERP Software: SAP preferred
- Sense of responsibility
- Attention to detail
- Resourceful
- Frequently moves or transports objects, potentially weighing up to 50 pounds
