Clinical Operations Manager
Overview
The Clinical Operations Manager oversees the planning, execution, and management of clinical programs across the organization. This role ensures all operations comply with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and quality standards — while meeting timelines, staffing, and budget goals.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
Ability to travel between Genesis locations at Baton Rouge and Covington
Current, unrestricted LMHP license in the State of Louisiana
Minimum two years of qualifying clinical experience providing behavioral health services in an IOP
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Clinical Care
Plan, implement, and manage clinical programs in alignment with policies, protocols, and timelines
Provide 10–12 clinical hours weekly while maintaining oversight of clinical quality and documentation
Supervise case management, education, discharge planning, intake, referral, and admission processes
Ensure timely completion of all clinical documentation
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise clinical staff and interns, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment
Conduct performance evaluations, training, and orientation in partnership with HR and Recruitment
Manage disciplinary actions and ensure adherence to company policies
Oversee staff scheduling, ensuring alignment with program guidelines
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all licensure, compliance, and regulatory requirements are current and met by deadlines
Prepare documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory submissions
Maintain adequate program staffing levels to meet client needs
Budget & Resource Management
Monitor program budgets and expenses; implement cost-control measures as needed
Oversee billing accuracy and payment processes
Data & Documentation
Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and EMR recordkeeping
Audit documentation regularly and implement corrective action plans for deficiencies
Collaborate with the Admissions Team to track census data, attendance, and discharge metrics
Problem Solving
Identify and address operational challenges, staffing gaps, and clinical workflow issues
Develop and implement proactive solutions to maintain program quality and continuity
