ARN has an exciting opportunity for an Announcer to join the#1 rating breakfast show in Mackay on STAR 101.9. Our listeners love camping, fishing, football, and family time. If you have a talent for storytelling, are high energy and can capture the attention of others – this role is for you!
About the role:
- Work with a great team to present a live on-air breakfast weekday show.
- As the face of the station, you will become a brand ambassador within the community. Networking and developing strong relationships is key to your success.
- Create content across multiple platforms that engage our audience, including social media channels.
- Execute in-market contesting and other promotional activities.
- Collaborate with all teams to drive and execute the station’s overall strategy.
About you:
- You have demonstrated experience in an on-air role on radio.
- Have a skill for storytelling and capturing the attention of listeners.
- Take pride in developing and focusing on your personal brand.
- Experience in the use of Zetta is ideal. Experience with Audata, Facebook/Instagram and Microsoft’s suite of programs is desirable.
