Who We Are

At Pepper Money, we’re dedicated to helping people succeed whether it’s buying a family home, a dream car, developing professionally, or growing their business. We’ve become one of the largest, most trusted, and award-winning non-bank lenders in Australia and New Zealand. Over our 24 years, we’ve achieved a lot, but our proudest accomplishment is helping over half a million Australians reach their goals with our ever-expanding lending options.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Settlements Officer to join our Asset Finance team in our North Sydney office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for completing settlement activities, supporting introducers, and ensuring applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on getting things right the first time, and love contributing to a team that’s focused on delivering great customer outcomes, this could be the role for you.

  • Settling Applications: Process settlements and register security interests in line with policy and delegated authority.
  • Maintaining Data Accuracy: Ensure data quality standards are met and escalate issues promptly.
  • Driving Productivity: Meet agreed productivity targets and support team goals and initiatives.
  • Improving Processes: Identify opportunities to enhance systems, policies, and reporting.
  • Delivering Customer Outcomes: Apply settlement procedures commercially and contribute to reducing rework and errors.
  • Engaging in Development: Set goals with your manager, participate in performance discussions, and contribute to a positive team culture.

About you

You’re someone who brings accuracy, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership to everything you do. You’re confident working with systems, love solving problems, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

  • Financial Services Experience: You’ve worked in settlements or financial services for at least 2 years.
  • Process-Driven: You understand operational systems and know how to follow procedures while spotting areas for improvement.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using technology to get the job done efficiently.
  • Compliance-Aware: You understand the importance of NCCP and AML/CTF regulations.
  • Clear Communicator: You’re confident in both written and verbal communication.
  • Team Contributor: You bring positive energy to the team and support collective goals.

At Pepper Money, collaboration is just as vital as your skills. Our values are the heartbeat of our success, driving everything we do:

Can Do: We think outside the box and harness the power of teamwork to achieve the extraordinary.
Balanced: We set our customers up for success, crafting win-win outcomes that are both human and profitable.
Real: We keep it honest and respect everyone, building genuine connections.

Enjoy a values-driven, diverse environment with a leadership team that inspires success and a culture that rewards excellence. We're always finding new ways to make Pepper a place for everyone:
