What you can expect in this role

• Jump into the action by helping to plan, manage, and run manual tests for the Joyn app across all sorts of web-based TV platforms
• Get hands-on with executing manual test cases, following the test plans and project specs
• Play detective - find bugs and weird anomalies during testing and make sure they're clearly documented
• Be a quality gatekeeper - run regression tests to confirm bug fixes actually work and make sure our existing features don't break
• Help us get better by contributing ideas to improve our overall quality assurance process so we can deliver amazing software

Your essential experience and education

• You are driven by a deep curiosity to understand and improve the streaming media landscape
• Furthermore, you thrive on dissecting complex systems to understand their logical foundations and pinpoint key details
• You champion clear communication and seamless collaboration as cornerstones of successful teamwork
• Additionally, you are a passionate advocate for the user, constantly seeking to understand and enhance their experience
• You have a passion for ensuring product excellence through rigorous manual testing and strategic quality assurance

Working hours: usually 20h/week, can be flexibly distributed by arrangement

Duration: Depending on enrolment - minimum 6 months, maximum 2 years

Gross monthly salary for 20 hours/week: In the first 6 months 1.200€ & from the 7th month 1.300€
