Position Summary :

The Clubhouse Director oversees all aspects of program operations through the implementation of the International Standards of Clubhouse Programs and the Psychiatric Rehabilitation licensing requirements. The Director is responsible for day-to-day operations, staff supervision, quality programming, community
partnerships, regulatory compliance, and ensuring the site reflects the mission, values, and high standards of Goodwill. This role is expected to support the Human Services Division leadership as a representative of both Goodwill and the Clubhouse and by serving as the conduit between the Clubhouse and the agency’s support departments, including Facilities & Maintenance, Marketing & Development, Risk Management, Financial Services, People Services, and more to ensure integrated operations and excellent service delivery.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Foster a member-led environment and ensure members (participants) are meaningfully engaged in work units, education, employment pathways, and social programming.
  • Ensure the physical environment of the Clubhouse and its safety standards are well-maintained through partnerships with the facilities, maintenance and technology department(s); resolving work orders and maintenance requests as needed.
  • Oversee all Clubhouse services to ensure program operations are in strict accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, funding/licensing/contracting regulations, agency policy, accreditation standards, and other applicable requirements.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with community partners. Recruit, hire, oversee and manage the work of program staff; encourage ongoing staff
    development.
  • Establish and oversee the Clubhouse advisory board.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including Clubhouse International Standards and psych rehab compliance and documentation. Adhere to guidelines for all relevant regulatory and funder entities.
  • Oversee the procedures and record keeping for member utilization and billing. Institute internal audit measures in collaboration with the Data & Quality Assurance team.

External hiring range: $52,624-$54,728.96/year

Travel required: Yes, local travel is required. 

Schedule: 8a-4p Monday - Friday. Occasional weekends

Qualifications

    • Bachelors' degree AND 3 year of experience required.
  • Required Degree(s): must be in Psychology/Rehabiliation, Education/Teaching, Human Services 

    Required Experience: 3+ years of experience working in mental health service environments, with at least 2 years of experience in a Psych Rehab
    Service (PRS) facility.

  • Preferred Experience: Prior CPRP certification, experience in job readiness and/or other employment related social service fields
