Olen is seeking a full-time, skilled CONSTRUCTION LABORER to join our in house Construction team. Under the direction of the Senior VP and Director of Construction, the Laborer is responsible for the physical appearance and maintenance of assigned properties and jobsites. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Repair or replace locking door knobs 
• Drywall Repair & Touch up painting 
• Sweep & clean jobsite 
• Replace broken ceiling tiles 
• Drive to jobsites as needed. 
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Construction trade experience – hands on knowledge of how things are built. - REQUIRED
• 1+ year experience working on construction job site - REQUIRED
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language. 
• Able to pass a pre-employment background screen & drug test. 
• Knowledge of small hand tools 
• Other tasks as assigned 

  EDUCATION: 

•   High school diploma required. 

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and/or see. The employee frequently is required to drive, stand, walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands, arms, and climb or balance. 

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job included close and distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 

This position is regularly required to drive between the office and job sites.  Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works primarily on active construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high at the jobsite. 

Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shift), Monday - Friday 

Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour flexible, depending upon experience and skills
