The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for performing basic history and physical pre-exams, non-invasive vascular flow studies, echocardiograms, and other ultrasound procedures on both in-patients and out-patients. This position requires adequate knowledge to prepare and evaluate accurate test results at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements for physician interpretation. Additionally, this role ensures the safe, efficient, and proper operation of ultrasound equipment. In addition, this position maintains compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, this role collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Performs exams in accordance with established departmental guidelines to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Acts as a liaison with physicians and their office staff to expedite procedures and results.
Verifies requested procedures by referring to the chart and contacts the appropriate person if there are discrepancies.
Recognizes abnormalities and reports findings to physicians and/or nursing staff promptly.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School Grad or Equiv Required
1+ year Work Experience Required
Preferred qualifications:
Associate Preferred
