Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Operate a 140-quart Hobart mixer to prepare cheese spreads and related products
- Wash, sanitize, and set up equipment and work spaces for production
- Perform daily cheese making tasks including ladling, molding, washing, bagging, and flipping
- Label, store, and track products in freezers and coolers
- Maintain accurate batch and inventory records
- Follow all SOPs, HACCP protocols, and food safety standards
- Keep work spaces clean, safe, and sanitary
- Collaborate with other departments and participate in team huddles and events
Qualifications
- Interest in food production and working with dairy
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Food safety certification is a plus but not required
