Key Responsibilities
- Takes guests’ orders for food and drinks over the counter, in a quick serve style outlet and ensures accuracy.
- Handles payments through the company’s point of sale equipment adhering to the company policies.
- Handles packaging of all take-out orders.
- Maintains a high level or customer service in the food and beverage areas.
- Maintains current knowledge of products, events and promotions and general information relating to the Food and Beverage department, general gaming floor and property.
- Constantly monitors the cleanliness and aesthetics of the cafe/ dining areas and takes action where required, including assisting patrons with menu items.
- Works collaboratively with team members to maintain the cleanliness of café/dining areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Require
- 1 year experience in a food and beverage and or customer service position
- Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Fast food or quick serve experience is an asset
- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
- Proven high level of Customer Service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills including ability to be friendly, polite and patient
- Ability to deal with demanding clientele in a professional manner
- Ability to multi-task, organize workload and work under pressure
- Ability to handle money and POS systems

- Comply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols
- Demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workers
