Job Summary
The purpose of the project is:
- to develop key components of the intervention to increase knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRDs) and to enhance caregiving skills and
- to assess the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention in a pilot trial among Korean American family care partners of persons living with dementia.
This position will also include interaction with communities outside the UC academic system. To accommodate participants’ schedules, evening and weekend shifts will be required. The RA will also perform other duties as assigned by the PI. This position will last until July 30, 2026.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $63,700 - $84,000 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Proficient bilingual ability to speak in Korean and English.
- Acquiring knowledge of research function. Acquiring ability to perform research analysis duties.
- Acquiring statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design skills to perform research analysis duties.
- Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
- Prior experience with using REDCap system or other data collection systems
- Social science or behavioral health research experience
- Research experience and/or training in qualitative and quantitative methods
- Experience with IRB submission
- Ability to abstract data from medical records and transfer them to databases
- Experience working with community and academic partners outside UCSF
