We’re looking for a Director, Credit Risk Officer to:
• Conduct credit assessments, monitoring, control and transaction decision approval of UBS' counterparties which primary encompasses Hedge funds, family offices and private equity funds.
• Leading trading documentation negotiation including ISDA/CSA, Prime Brokerage and Repo Agreements.
• Evaluating counterparty credit risk based on an understanding of the hedge fund and family office risk management techniques, trading strategies, and infrastructure, as well as several other quantitative and qualitative measures of credit worthiness.
• Holding delegated personal authority (within established risk-based limits) to approve new positions or to make recommendations to higher authority levels within Credit.
• Interact with the business units in relation to transactions to ensure the risk fit UBS's ultimate appetite in the sector.
• Evaluate transactional risks associated with OTC derivatives, securities financing, exchange traded derivatives, banking products and structured transactions; prepare, reviewing, and approving, written counterparty annual reviews and transactional credit proposals drawing conclusions relating to credit assessment, risk appetite, exposure drivers and business prospects.
• Ensure all regulatory requests, audit items and operational risk issues are dealt with in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner; perform ad hoc credit risk analysis and participating in portfolio reviews.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Salary Range & Work Schedule: $186,000 to $240,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. Your expertise
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience in Financial Risk as a Vice President, Associate, Assistant Vice President, or a related occupation.
Position requires experience with the following:
• Quantitative risk analysis employed in a credit risk, market risk or trading environment;
• Analysis of the financial condition of hedge fund counterparties;
• Financial markets, trading and lending products; ISDA/CSA; Prime Brokerage and Repo Agreements; Bloomberg;
• Tableau; SQL; X1 Search; VBA basics; Python.
