Petersen Research Lab Manager - Part Time na ACADEMIC

What We're Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a part time Petersen Research Lab Manager. The Lab Manager will oversee and coordinate all operational, administrative, and logistical aspects of Dr. Douglas Petersen’s research program, supported by the Vance Masteller Endowment. This position provides critical support for national and international research initiatives, collaborations, and dissemination efforts.

A Master's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience. 

Additional preferred skills include:

• Experience in research administration, project management, or related roles
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis. 

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day operations of the research lab, including scheduling, budgeting, and communications
• Coordinate national and international research projects, including logistics, timelines, and deliverables
• Facilitate collaborations with internal and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and follow-through
• Support research efforts through data organization, reporting, and administrative compliance
• Assist with event planning, presentations, and dissemination of research findings
• Serve as a primary point of contact for lab personnel, collaborators, and administrative offices
• Performing all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintaining regular and punctual attendance
