Position Purpose: Provide support and direction to clients and staff at Harrison. Duties include but are not limited to managing milieu, activity facilitation, deemed point person for questions and problem solving. Assist with Admissions. Provide Shift coverage as necessary. Complete documentation within specified time frames, provide training, quality assurance, staff supervision and attend required meetings. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of withdrawal management services to clients while promoting benefits of recovery into their daily living situations.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Prior working experience in a social service or behavioral health setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in behavioral management techniques
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work scheduled work hours and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
- Ensure compliance with treatment schedules on all units.
- Coordinate treatment activities as scheduled between units.
- Float between groups and provide guidance and support to scheduled staff.
- Assist scheduled staff with any behavioral occurrences and completion of established client monitoring expectations.
- Act as point person for communication with on-call counselor.
- Act as a liaison to leadership for client and staffing issues.
- Provide staff mentoring and performance feedback.
- Supervise and manage the behavior of the clients and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
- Ensure that client service records and documentation are maintained per established guidelines.
- Observe, monitor and record group dynamics.
- Consult with the members of the treatment team and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
- Read all logs and obtain pertinent information from staff of previous shifts, counselors, nursing, teachers, etc.
- Oversee the neatness of the unit and the proper use of the equipment and supplies and inform the proper person when supplies or repairs are indicated.
- Serve as a member of the Unit Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
- Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule: Tues-Sat 3pm-11:30pm

- High school diploma-Associates $22.50
- Bachelors: $24.44
Shift Differentials
2nd shift: +$.25/hr
