Job Summary
Koch & Co., Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to be part of their team. The maintenance technician will setup new equipment, perform maintenance and more.
Responsibilities
Maintenance technician responsibilities may include some or all the following:
- Perform highly diversified duties to setup and maintain production machines and equipment.
- Provide emergency, unscheduled and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform setup of machinery including changing knives, blades and other calibrations.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Inspect, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Replace electric motor bearings and rewire motors.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures and schedules on all equipment.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure conformance to documented best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other maintenance staff to solve problems and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Welding, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics when necessary.
- Must follow all federal and state safety laws and guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous production experience preferred. Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employer participates in E-verify program.
