This position supports Heartline’s Criminal Justice Initiative and provides operational support across HeartLine programs as needed. The Coordinator serves as a liaison to the Oklahoma County Courthouse, connecting court personnel and clients to community resources, while also assisting other HeartLine initiatives. This position is part of the administrative team and may require occasional work outside standard business hours. Applicants must reside in Oklahoma.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Serve as liaison at the Oklahoma County Courthouse and Diversion Hub, providing resource navigation and support to staff and clients.
  • Collaborate with judges, district attorneys, public defenders, and other agencies to identify and provide alternatives to traditional judicial processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers.
  • Prepare reports and consult with staff and volunteers to expand awareness of available community resources.Support Heartline operations, including assisting in call center operations, providing additional coverage during Medicare Open Enrollment or other project support as needed.
  • Test for Inform USA (formerly AIRS) or CRS (Certified Resource Specialist) certification within one year of eligibility.
  • Provide administrative or project-based support for other Heartline initiatives and events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in administrative duties that include data entry, telephone work, typing, networking, and strong computer experience with the technical ability to troubleshoot when needed. Experience working in a non-profit and working knowledge of metropolitan area services and resources preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging wih diverse groups and public audiences.
  • Strong data entry, analytical, and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Reliable transportation to attend meetings and community events throughout the metro area.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. 
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and effective time management. 
  • Ability to handle stress associated with call center and client-facing work. 
  • Physically able to lift 20 pounds, sit for long periods of time, talk on the telephone, and bend/stoop.
  • Must be curious and willing to socially engage others to broaden the services in the database.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is remote upon completion of initial training period. The Diversion Hub portion of the position and the database portion of the position will both be remote work. It is expected that this position will be in-person at the Oklahoma county courthouse twice a week to attend courts and check in with judge’s staff. HeartLine reserves the right to revoke remote privileges to provide additional onsite training if performance does not meet HeartLine standards.
