  The Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee the organization’s inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

§ Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory count

§ Performs daily cycle counts and counting entire building on a weekly basis

§ Performs spot counts requested by Purchasing Department, Accounting Department, or under direction of Executive team

§ Manages slots for inbound receiving

§ Performs inventory adjustments as needed

§ Researches and analyzes inventory adjustments 

§ Handle transferred product between warehouses

§ Perform Date audits or weight audits and adjustments as needed

§ Crucial member of Customer Returns Process

§ Investigate Customer Shortages

§ Help with annual Audits

§ Identify and handle damaged product

§ Performs other related duties as requested

Competencies

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Good interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with a diverse group of employees and managers.

   Proficient in Microsoft      Office Suite and computer-based applications.

· Ability to use warehouse equipment (forklifts: high reach and sit down and cherry picker)

· Strong customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines.

· Handle multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced team environment and requires the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.

· Receptive to management development suggestions and willing to seek additional knowledge to facilitate job growth.

Requirements

  

This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work is required as job duties demand, especially during high volume business events. 

Required Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

· Forklift operator certification preferred.

Ø The environment is an office environment with approximately 75% of work performed in a warehouse and cold storage building with a range of 0 to 35+ degrees F

Ø While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. 

Ø Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, due to the use of electronic equipment.

Ø Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Ø Walking and standing for greater than thirty minutes during the workday is common.
