Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Associate Manager to join our Digital Analytics Department where you’ll join an experienced Analytics team covering Digital Product Analytics, Experimentation and Data Collection. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with Digital Product, Design, Engineering, and Content teams.  You will also work with the broader Commercial Services Loyalty, Brand, Data Science, Acquisitions, and Global Marketing teams, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

The Digital Analytics team serves as internal consultants to key areas within the business, including Digital, Customer, Marketing, and Commercial Services channels, including the Revenue and Sales organizations. The team consists of both embedded subject matter authorities, who serve as strategic advisors to business stakeholders and technical guides proficient in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Tag Management (Tealium), Tableau, Python, R, SAS, and SQL. The team is fully integrated within the business functions to ensure close partnerships and the expertise to effectively discover, measure, optimize, and drive overall company performance.

This role will be responsible for leading a digital analytics team to deliver a personalized digital experience to customers on owned digital channels (desktop/Hyatt.com, App & Emails) by driving an experimentation and test & learn mindset and providing product insights to improve conversion rate. The candidate will provide analytical leadership by challenging the status quo and drive data-backed decision-making. 

•You will lead/enable a team to identify key metrics, conduct rigorous explorative data analysis, create executive-facing dashboards, and build business cases that drive decision-making and business prioritization. The tools at the team's fingertips for robust analysis include Adobe Analytics/Target, Content Square, and Launch Darkly.

•You will set forth frameworks to drive insights, improve conversion, and increase digital revenue.

•You will have the ability to perform statistical methodologies such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

•You will partner closely with product leaders to understand new product offerings being built and recommend the right metrics to measure the performance of those features.

•You will define and cultivate best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation and continue to optimize the booking funnel as well as increase spend at property through instay interactions.

•You will also collaborate with engineering and data engineering to enable feature tracking, resolve complex data, QA, and tracking issues, and build necessary data pipelines as Hyatt continues down the acquisition journey.

•You will have exposure across the organization and should be hyper-analytical and intellectually honest, truly believing in data-driven decisions and communicating your ideas through effective data storytelling.


Experience Required:

•Bachelor’s degree

•5+ years of experience in digital product analytics or related field, hotel industry experience preferred

•Strong knowledge of hypothesis testing and statistical analysis methodologies (t-test, z-test, ANOVA, etc.).

•Ability to perform statistical methodologies such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting, etc.

•Strong knowledge of web analytics and tracking methodologies, particularly within the eCommerce space (tag management, hit-level data analysis, customer behavior analysis, etc.).

• Hands-on Experience with tag management platforms: Tealium/Adobe Launch/Google Tag Manager

•Deep understanding and subject matter expertise of digital product analytics taxonomy, governance, and data hygiene/quality/controls

•Solid understanding of digital product workflow in an agile environment. Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools related to analytics, dashboarding, ETL, and report automation.

•Extensive understanding of data analytics, communications, and A/B and Multivariate testing within pod environment best practices

•Familiarity with customer data, personalization, and customer engagement metrics sourced from digital marketing channels

•Ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles

•Ability to work with and properly relay information to both business and technical partners.

•Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as an active team participant

•Exceptional communication skills, able to tell data story to business stakeholders and answer what happened, why, and so what!

Experience Preferred: 

•Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics Experience

•Experience with Digital Testing & Optimization

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.  Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
