Community Management Support - TFT (12 Month Contract) na Riot Games

We’re looking for a highly operational, community-savvy TFT lover to support the game in France. As our boots on the ground, you’ll help localize and execute community activations, grassroots events, and campaign strategies that truly resonate with French players.

You’ll work closely with Riot’s EMEA teams to support direct-to-player communications, identify local trends, surface community feedback and opportunities, help build and look after our influencer ecosystem and collaborate with agencies and partners. Native-level French and strong English are required, along with deep TFT familiarity and the ability to manage logistics, reporting, and sensitive communications.

This is a 12 month contract role for someone who lives and breathes TFT and knows how to turn that passion into meaningful player impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA Brand Manager and Community Lead to shape local strategies for direct-to-player communications, ensuring a consistent and resonant experience for TFT players.
  • Work with the EMEA team to deliver cohesive, impactful TFT campaigns across all player-facing channels.
  • Identify where players gather; from Discord servers and fan sites to grassroots tournament hubs, and evaluate opportunities for local engagement.
  • Help execute campaign plans at the local level, translating high-level strategy into community & grassroots execution that make players proud.
  • Propose and lead the execution of events, meetups, and community initiatives tailored to resonate deeply within the local player base.
  • Work with local agencies and vendors to ensure smooth, high-quality execution across all touchpoints — digital, physical, and everything in between.
  • Regularly monitor and report local player feedback, community conversation trends, and emerging concerns to help steer campaign messaging and content.
  • Discover new creators, Discord groups, and fan communities; recommend collaborations that align with TFT goals and support them with resources to amplify their work.
  • Design inclusive initiatives that celebrate community content and foster storytelling in collaboration with the EMEA Community Lead. Identify opportunities to spotlight and elevate community-led projects.
  • Respond to shifts in community sentiment and player behavior with agility, flagging issues early and developing community-first projects in response.
  • Monitor local influencer and streamer activity, track related KPIs, and provide reporting to ensure visibility into the success of our partnerships.
  • Build decks and post-mortem reports to document your work, share key learnings, and highlight wins across community and campaign activations.

Required qualifications:

  • Familiarity with TFT as a passionate player or community participant. You understand its gameplay, culture, and what resonates with the TFT audience in France.
  • +3 years of experience in community management, grassroots marketing, event coordination, or influencer operations, ideally within gaming or esports.
  • Deep understanding of local gaming communities in France. You know where players gather, what platforms they use, and how to engage them authentically. You know the TFT influencers, esports teams and personalities.
  • Operational excellence; you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills in both your local language and English. You are able to clearly convey ideas, build reports, and collaborate across distributed teams.
  • You are proficient in tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint; comfortable creating decks and synthesizing data into actionable insights.
  • You are native to platforms like Discord, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X from both a user and trend-tracking perspective.
  • You understand what matters to TFT players, and you care about building genuine, player-first experiences.
  • Experience in crisis management and sensitive communications.You’re capable of navigating tough situations with care, empathy, and professionalism.
